We have a very traditional kitchen and this faucet fits in well. It replaced the shinier and more ornate set installed 15 years ago, but everything in stores these days is modern, so there weren't as many traditional options as there were in the early 2000s. This faucet is slim enough that if remodeled it would look good in a more modern kitchen, but it also has enough classic design to go well with our traditional early 2000's kitchen. The spot resist finish seems to work well. We had issues with a couple of bathroom fixtures that kept coming up stained, even CLR and Lime Away didn't really help them, which is beyond me as I've had good luck with water stains with those cleaners elsewhere in the house. So far, thanks to the Spot Resist coating on this faucet, we haven't had any spots after using the faucet for about a month, but I'll admit that I've put more effort into noticing when the faucet is wet and then drying it out . But there is something on the surface of this faucet that seems to contain stains, so I'm very happy with it. The finish has a soft sheen - it's listed as 'stainless steel' but it's a little darker and a little less shiny. than my stainless steel sink. It took me a while to get used to it because the faucet that replaced this one was chrome so I was used to seeing a bright shiny faucet in there. I wouldn't say the finish lacks a shine, but it's not as shiny as traditional stainless steel or the very popular "brushed nickel" finish. It has a matte finish with a soft sheen and definitely has some shine. I think the darker color and less glossy texture is probably due to the mottled finish. I'd say it's worth it as the faucet has definitely not stood out so far and after a week or so my eyes adjusted to the thinner look of this faucet compared to the bright chrome I'm used to in this corner. kitchens. This faucet was a bargain price compared to many we looked at. Our plumber installed it so I can't comment on the installation but when we asked him before purchasing a new kit he recommended we go with either the Moen or Delta for their combination of price, durable quality and ease of installation. So far this set is working well. The atomizer is actually metal (very light but real metal), our last one was a chromed plastic. The soap dispenser can be filled from the top - simply detach the top of the pump and refill without reaching into the base cabinet or fumbling around in the dark.
