Review on Deltana CDG35U15 Chain Door Guard, made with Solid Brass by Sherry Elliott

I guess I should only give it 3 stars but I think I'm in a good mood. Appearance, color, style should get 5 points. BUT it is HUGE! The screws that come with the kit are 1/2 inch ONLY. I don't feel like offering ANY protection like that at all. It seems to me that my 3 year old nephew was able to squeeze into the house simply by pulling on the chain and breaking it off the door and/or door frame. I ended up using ANTIQUE GOLD colored screws (I HATE) but wanted to keep the same level of protection. but I didn't want to order burnished oil plugs (more money) So that's a message to the manufacturer. 1/2 inch screws. INDEED? NOT GOOD!
