what i can say is zippo. Flints, wicks, and liquids are readily available and work well in the wind. I have orange so as not to lose. The only thing about these lighters is that they need to be refilled regularly as the liquid evaporates when not in use. My butane gas lighters sometimes did the same thing. I use mine for camping and carry it in my backpack along with a small bottle of e-juice. You can cut a piece of inner tube from a bike tire that fits snugly around your lighter to slow evaporation, allowing you to stay a few more days. This works very well. However, it's a good idea to have more than one way to start a fire (like matches or a magnet block) for emergencies.
