Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, the product corresponds to the description.

To yet, I've just upgraded the BIOS from version H3 to H5 after purchasing the simplest Ryzen 3 1200 processor and having everything boot up. I wasn't wasting my time; the plank became a brick. Just so you know, there are three different ways to access the BIOS: First, there's M-FLASH Two, the living consumed six To Restore Default BIOS Settings, Press the "F3" The first method (updating the BIOS via BIOS + flash disk with a fresh BIOS) was the one I used. After a system restart, I was met with a blank screen. After much anguish, I finally figured out that the Flash BIOS Button was the key to fixing the system. If you follow the directions, you'll just need a board, a power supply, and a USB drive to complete the project. You can test several flash drives by formatting them to FAT32 - MBR. Then, when I had recovered, I tried installing Live ate 6, but the instructions for modifying the BIOS were mysteriously missing. lol! Overall, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due of the issues I had with the BIOS. Please, MSI, make it so that mom doesn't turn into a brick after dinner, and please, users, don't make mom into a brick. For ASUS motherboards, at least, the BIOS updates without a hitch, so at least I have a basis for comparison.

Pros
  • B450 with compatibility for 3rd generation Ryzen processors; SSD M.2; 4 DIMM slots; maximum 4133 MHz DDR4 frequency
Cons
  • The BIOS ate system isn't getting enough love from MSI.
