*SERIOUS PLAYER*DO NOT LISTEN TO NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS

USB WIFI AND BLUETOOTH ADAPTER DO NOT LISTEN TO OTHER FEEDBACKS. Okay, first off, I'm a serious gamer and avid media watcher. I bought this because of the lower price of this USB WiFi/Bluetooth adapter for my desktop computer than the exact same example but from the official group (I think). Since I'm a main member it was $4 off. And what I can say about it is that it offers great speeds for 5G. I have a dual band modem, so both a 2.4G and a 5G modem. As you can see from the photos, all tests were done with 5G. My 2.4g test showed download speeds of around 45MB per second and 10MB upload speeds. Which is actually really great. Now I have a reference from my phone and PlayStation. I have a phone with 5G Wi-Fi and the download speed is around 370MB per second. My PlayStation Wi-Fi hovers around 150MB per second when downloading, and the PlayStation has Wi-Fi 6. So yes, there is a slight caveat to the USB adapter, but it's still very fast for everyday use . According to Google, only 35 MB per second is enough for 4k 60fps hdr for Stadia. So yes, you will be much better off with this adapter. No worse than the official brand, this is an exact copy I looked at and the chipset in device manager is the same, so is the driver. And Bluetooth is great, I tested it on my headphones and on my phone, it connected well and had a stable connection. No drops. The adapter supports 802.11ac and everything beyond, so you can work well with all routers and devices. Overall I'm very happy with it and you will be too. Ps To update the driver, just go to Device Manager, find Realtek USB Adapter and click "Update online automatically". The latest version will be installed. The data medium is not required. It came with a CD, but you don't really need it. Only if you don't have an internet connection or can't access it over an ethernet network.
