Review on ๐Ÿ‚ Optimized Snowboarding and Skiing Knee Pads: Triple Eight Undercover Snow by Erik Snyder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

But I never leave reviews.

... these knee pads really deserve it. Two weeks ago I went snowboarding for the first time. After trying - with some pretty hard falls - it was several days before I could walk normally again. I just went out with them a second time and the difference was HUGE. I can't stress this enough: HUGE. Of all the times I've fallen (and there have been many), the only real pain I've had in my knee was when someone actually bumped into me. This speaks especially for these pads as I am still treating knee pain from an injury I had a while ago. The rest of the time I was snowboarding (and falling on my knees quite a lot) they were constantly cushioning the impact. Not only was I in less pain, I jumped faster and felt more comfortable getting up! My favorite pros about them: *The neoprene material is great - it was a bit warm last time and I was a bit sweaty, but the material doesn't absorb like the others so it stays comfortable and doesn't itch *The pads are dense soft Material; Another reviewer mentioned this and I didn't quite get it, but this material is definitely thicker and nicer than the material on, say, volleyball knee pads, so you can't tell you're wearing them under your winter pants. I firmly believe that I will always wear these snowboards - even if (hopefully) I will not fall as often. They were comfortable, light and AMAZING in every way. I was hesitant to spend the extra money on these instead of some cheap volleyball pads but honestly WORTH EVERY PENNY. If you are considering them, just get them.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
