CUTE FUNNY BIRD IN TERRIBLE PACKAGING

Comes in the polar opposite of non-irritating packaging. Seriously, I don't think I've ever commented on the packaging, but since someone clearly went to the trouble of designing the most difficult packaging to open, I thought it was worth mentioning. And so, after spending 10-15 minutes on it and finally pulling the @(#$&* bird out of all that packaging, I pushed the button and eagerly awaited my reward! Nothing. Turns out there was a Switch gives. Still no direction. Requires 2 AA batteries "not included"! This is not normal for a child's toy. Most of these toys even have a demo mode. Not this one! I got this bird a few months ago Received for my daughter's birthday to give as a gift But after tearing the package into pieces and then, frustrated with the battery requirements, I shoved it at her and said "Happy Birthday! Here's your birdie @#$! It takes two AA batteries." Vogel, here's her rating: Four stars Painful to activate but worth it. I really had trouble with the batteries on this one. I don't think I put them in correctly the first time have. However, this toy is a real treat once you can get it working. Classic tunes. Also it will repeat Literally everything you say to it. With reptiles, a solid body would make more sense. Here are my thoughts: This bird has a solid body. All it does is make funny noises when you press a button or touch the sensor on the back, record and play back your voice, and turn its head. I imagine all these features could be packed into a pretty plush case. I give it four stars because my daughter is happy with it, but I think the case could be better. And of course, don't even get me started on the packaging.
