Review on Efficient And Spacious Drymate XL Dish Drying Mat: Waterproof, Slip-Resistant, And Trimmable - Perfect For Your Kitchen Counter (Surf Green 3) by Sameer Hilton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is indeed nonslip, and it has done an excellent job of holding water without getting mushy.

I am very pleased with this mat! It is very different from most mats you see hanging in some aisle at the grocery store, kitchen store, etc. I like its low profile and love its being completely immovable. It will not ever slide one bit!It is also super absorbent! With my past dry mat, made with fabric over foam and a very open backing, it could get quite wet while tackling the occasional, monster pile of dirty dishes. You know, situations involving loading up the mat, pausing washing of dishes to clear stuff off the mat, and then reloading the mat with more wet dishes. However, with this mat, you can put multiple loads of wet dishes, one after the other, and notice no significant wetness. It is quite cool! Also, I have not had it long enough to rate durability or ease to clean, but I have had it for, at least, a month and you can see the fold marks are still there, but how could they smooth out with the hardcore non-slip backing? Maybe set it upside down with some stuff on it? Haven’t tried that.

Pros
  • But too thin
Cons
  • I thought it would be a lot thicker and absorb more. it is not. The only good thing is it's size
