I've never used an arc candle lighter like this but it works pretty well. The main downside is that you can only use it for 10 seconds at a time and some thicker wicks take a while to get started. Sometimes the wick will light up immediately, it's weird how it works. But I always end up lighting the candle, even if I have to "rest" it for a few seconds. The top will get very hot if you use it continuously for more than 10-15 seconds. I love that it charges via USB so you never have to worry about running out of lighter fluid or matches. The body of this lighter is made from a nice, heavy, polished metal that is comfortable to hold. This unique candle lighter makes a great gift for someone who loves candles. Packed in a nice box with charging cable. The top is the only part that feels halfway cheap, but you still shouldn't touch that area. I'm curious how long this thing lasts. I use it every day and so far it has been very reliable.
