Review on Ridgid 55808 PowerClear Cleaning Blockages by Brent Saake

I had a hard power spin (a snake attached to a drill) for about 6 years before it broke. Our installation isn't very good, so it found many uses, so here are my favorite improvements over this device. Not having to hold a drill, snake, and pipe is like cheating, you could do it all with one hand (and one foot). ) Very quiet compared to a drill and minimal vibration as you are holding the end of the hose, not the motor. The transparent drum makes it easy to see how much snake is left. Easy to disassemble and clean. The feed and retract work very well and are very fast. my old strength twisted, my arms and back spasming as I tried to release blockages. That got me through it in about a quarter of the time and felt like I didn't even really have to work.
