Review on ๐Ÿš™ MotoFab Lifts CH-2LM - 2" Front Leveling Lift Kit: Chevy/Gmc Pickup Compatible Solution by Isaac Logan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Raised my 2014 Chevy 1500 with ease.

I've read sooo many bad reviews on here from people who obviously shouldn't be ordering for themselves! Unless you're smart enough to know that if the bolt rubs against the axle shaft when you install it from the bottom, you should probably install it from the top down, you have NO WORK UNDER YOUR LOAD. Now that it's been said. Great blocks, they didn't have a logo like in the picture, but who's looking for that under my truck? The screws provided are class 5, not class 8 (count the lines upside down and add two if you don't know how to tell). Factory screws are class 5, no reason to go for class 8 all separately. If you try to "trick" it into place, you'll end up stranded with something. Now it's time to replace the ball joints, upper arms, anti-roll bar bushings, etc. When installing, remember to loosen (rather than remove) the top brace bolts to allow everything to move and align properly. This can push your upper ball joint to the limit, you might want to consider an upper control arm and a raised, offset ball joint. This will solve your casting and chipping problems if the alignment kit is causing them. You're changing the geometry of your truck's front end, this can mean you have to buy different parts to get everything aligned and driving properly. Welcome down the custom truck rabbit hole, your wife won't be happy you're here lol. MOOG is a great upper arm replacement with offset that gives you a few degrees of shaping and camber. I wish I could go ahead and change racks while I was there. But honestly, if you want to quickly lift a loaded ranch rack, this is the answer instead of this block (they're $300). These blocks work great, but if you even need racks, look at the quick climb up from the ranch, you don't even need a spring compressor, they're preloaded. I hope this helps someone make a decision. Please do not misunderstand the above information. These blocks will definitely level your $40 truck and it is a GREAT PRODUCT MADE ON SITE. Just don't be surprised if you have to buy something else (an upper arm with an offset ball joint) to make it work. And if you need to replace the racks soon anyway, Rancho quick-load racks cost about $60 more (both sides) than Monroe quick-load racks. So for $20 more than this kit, line it up with racks. And finally, I don't care what these people say, YOU SHOULD LEVEL YOUR TRUCK AFTER INSTALLATION, THE FRONT WILL BE TOWED. But don't believe me, destroy the brand new set of 33s instead.
