I saw a review of these pens on YouTube that was advertised as "great for beginners" because the brush pen tip was soft. For the most part I agree with the statement. In my opinion these brush pens are NOT as soft as people say BUT I think that makes them good for calligraphy/freehand drawing beginners because they require less control. The most important thing for me is that the pens DO NOT bleed through the pages of my bullet journal, which is something I always look for with new markers/pens. My only complaint about this product is that the black pen is more difficult to use than the brown (sepia) or gray ones. It seems to bleed a lot more around the edges than the other two. I would recommend people to use this and colorful wraps but be careful with darker colors that will create a washed out effect on your lines.
