I bought these because I was happy to be able to run bigger bottles on my mountain bike. The first thing that struck me was how flimsy the frame material is and that I had to manipulate it to get my bottles to fit snugly. On my first ride (13 miles) when I finished cleaning my bike, I found that the cage was making my bottle rub against the down tube and rubbing the paint. This is a mountain bike so there are a few scratches on it, but it's still a shame that the damage was caused by a poor quality product.
