I bought this to cut a custom drill for a hex shank impact wrench that was too deep for the standard drill size. The locking mechanism in the stock consisted of ball bearings, which were retracted with a telescopic chuck. Of course I wasn't sure if any of the available Dremel diamond drill bits would do the job, but I'm glad I started with the brand name. Apologies for the amateur work (I just held the bit on the left and the dremel on the right and tried to do it freehand), but look at the pictures to see how well it worked. For 35000r with Dremel 4300.
