Review on Airhead A 3 Screw Anchor System by Jon Brazil

To be honest I wish I could rate it lower. I booked this as a last resort as I couldn't find my sea buckthorn a few days before leaving for the lake. This was the first result in Revain and had the most likely delivery date within the time frame I needed. First the order arrived a day late even though I paid for next day shipping to make sure it would arrive. The product itself is also disappointing. The rope that comes with it is definitely shorter than advertised. Spike struggled to keep every boat ashore, even in the most moderate waves. We were on Lake Mead so it doesn't look like it needed to hold anything back from the ocean currents. On the last day on the lake, the entire tip (where you hold onto to spin) completely detached and faded into relatively typical lake sand. This week I will be ordering a replacement sand spike (similar to my last one) from West Marine. It was a waste of money. Save time and money and look elsewhere. This thing is useless.
