They are much heavier than I thought. The packaging is also strong and well protected, and the hardware comes in a separate box. I appreciate that all brackets were individually stamped for the position they belong to. There are enough fittings for each side, so be careful not to lose anything. The logos they place in the middle of each board are removed immediately if you don't want them. The little screws that attach the boards to the brackets are small and a little tricky to put in place with a nut and washer, but with a little persistence they can be made and there can be a large "shelf" on the brackets, to make things a little easier. One of them is heavy and they didn't buckle when I jumped on them with my 250 pounds.
