The width of this tape is 0.148 inch as stated on the packaging which is the full width of the tape. To use with my splicing block, the tape needs to be .125" wide, as do the splicing tabs that come with the splicing block. To successfully use this tape, I had to place the strip on a cutting board and, while observing through a 2.5x magnifying glass, use a single-edged blade to cut off the extra 0.023 inch. aligned with the locked splice slot and lowered through the slot onto the tape.
