If I had kept the box and papers I would have returned it; I've waited too long to open and try it. I won't talk about brands but it sounds like I bought an external speaker 10 years ago. the technology is advanced. The one I bought 5 years ago is better and the other one I bought after this one was disappointing is amazing. It will be a flea market. The sound quality is metallic at best. I can't rate the battery life as I threw it in the box and don't use it. Also, the volume control attracted me. Do not be fooled; You need full power as well as the device it's plugged into and then it's too low. They indicate that you can chain several together. You have to connect several together to get the volume anywhere near the others I have. Bottom line, don't waste your money in my opinion.
