Quiet, powerful fans that really move the air!

I bought the Riing 12 and 14 models, they are fantastic fans. As for the Riing 14 models, I've bought several of these fans over the past few years. They are very reliable and even my old ones still run quietly and efficiently. However, there are a few things to consider before using it. These fans are more or less only for case fans (I'm sure they work fine as AIO heatsinks, but they're still only 3-pin fans). high static pressure, so they can easily cut through a decent number of filters. With those things out of the way it's time to move on to the main part of my review and thoughts on these fans after using them for about 5 years. or so years. The first thing that struck me about these fans is that they're pretty loud at 100% load, but that's not surprising given their size. However, this is the point where some of you may have concerns about buying them. It is no less stopping you from buying these awesome fans. Even at 80% power these fans are pumping out an absolutely massive amount of air (up to a ridiculous amount) and at 80% they are almost silent. My solution to the noise issue was to just take it off my Molex powered fan hub and plug it into the fan header and the standard curve would take care of the rest (reduced power from 100% and a reasonable amount of noise to 65% and perfect ). calm). Alternatively, you can use a low-noise adapter if you're plugging it into a hub, but you'll need to place it somewhere where the heat (55C what I've seen with my probe) won't affect your system. . The last thing I would like to point out is that these fans have very good cable lengths, eliminating the need for extension cables on even the largest builds.
