For the price they are worth it.

They work well and are well made. The only thing that confuses me is that the bases of the rings are made of hard molded plastic. The base is made of aluminum while the ring and round clip are made of steel. However, the only function of the piece of plastic attached to the ring is to prevent the clip from coming loose from its socket. I'm sure it's strong enough to do its job.
