I advise you to buy or make felt washers between the hinge and the pin if you care about your painting. The advertised photos show a rubber pad on the rotation stop that prevents the stylus from clicking too far. On my vertebrae, the stop was literally wrapped in black electrical tape. Dipping him in liquid tape was a quick fix. Heavy duty and apart from minor inconveniences I have no complaints.
