Review on OWC 250GB Mercury Electra 3G SSD, 2.5-inch SATA 7mm Solid State Drive by Tyler Ramey

Update: The price of this item has come down so much that I feel cheated into paying for what I did less than a year ago . sata3 is 99% backwards compatible, with the exception of some poorly designed devices that only work with sata2. I think this product is aimed at Mac users, but Asus U24E has the same problem. This has breathed new life into my laptop that doesn't recognize SATA3 hard drives. If you need SSD SATA2, then this is what you need! It's a bit more expensive than similar SATA3 drives, but I'll pay more as it's definitely a niche product.
