After much research I decided on this one for my ball python tank. I love that it comes with a digital thermostat and it's very easy to use. The only thing I would change is the length of the probe. It's very short and the instructions say to place the probe 1 1/2 inches to the side so you can only get temperature readings over a small area. I use multiple thermometers in the case so it lines up nicely, but I've seen a problem with this. Also where the probe is between the heating mat and the tank there is a large gap between the mat and the tank itself as the probe is round.
