Clutch could be better

Bought 4 pack, one for each of my leopard geckos. I set them all to 90°F for belly warmth. Setting up the device was very simple and straightforward. The temperature of the heating mat typically varies between 86-92°F when installed and the probe is not moving. Although my temporary weapon will have a different value, showing that it is even lower. Their downside was the glue that stuck to the bottom of the tanks. The glue came off the mat and stayed on my terrariums after a few months. The…

Suitable for Secondary Heat Source

After much research I decided on this one for my ball python tank. I love that it comes with a digital thermostat and it's very easy to use. The only thing I would change is the length of the probe. It's very short and the instructions say to place the probe 1 1/2 inches to the side so you can only get temperature readings over a small area. I use multiple thermometers in the case so it lines up nicely, but I've seen a problem with this. Also where the probe is between the heating mat and the…

Pros
  • Temperature Control: Digital thermostat provides temperature control from 40°F to 108°F (5°C to 42°C), selectable in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Easy connection with LED indicators and 3-pin grounding plug
Cons
  • Can't remember

My reptile is happy

This is one of the best UTHs I've found and it's very handy that it comes with a thermostat. I can't speak for other people's products, but what I got seems pretty accurate. It took 4 to 5 hours to heat up to 90°F with the thermostat. The probe's suction cup doesn't stick to glass very well, but that's fine with me because I insert the probe into my reptile's warm skin, which sits over the UTH to control the temperature inside. I would still recommend that you buy a separate thermometer, e.g…
