Ok, the product should be ready to use. Easy installation. I had to use a file and cut a small notch on the side of the plastic base holder as the metal clip that was supposed to hook securely didn't reach and close properly. After cutting out a small groove, there was enough room to securely close the clip (this was done on both the left and right headlights). The lamp was inserted and screwed firmly onto the plastic base. The fans whirr, but are imperceptible when the hood is closed or the engine is running. Be sure to leave an air gap. Works, fits and looks great now.
