To be honest I replaced the front rotor and pads with this kit. When I first tested it I had a feeling something was very wrong, when I applied the brake it made a loud noise like your brake pads were worn out. and metal meets metal sound. And the noise was very loud. So I pick up the car, remove and inspect the rotor and pads, everything looks fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled it to see if I made a mistake. But on a test drive again the same problem. So I took my car to my friend's workshop (he is certified by BMW Mechanics and has his own workshop), he looked at it to see if I made a mistake installing the kit. Everything is properly checked. Test drive and the same problem with the metal on metal sound. So I called Revain about the problem, they replaced the kit with a new kit. This time I asked my friend to install it and he replaced the kit with a new one and test drove the car. I didn't hear any noise, but then I took the car on a long drive to make sure the noise was gone for good, but after several stops and drives over the next hour, the noise returned, and this time it was louder than the previous one. So I'm searching the web for this set to see if anyone has left any feedback on it. I've been poking around for hours and only found 2-3 reviews and every review on this rotor kit is about the same problem, makes very loud noise and no one is happy with this rotor kit. I am informing Revain about this product that it is not up to standard and they should not sell such an item that has not been properly tested and has no reviews. They told me that if I could send them back they would refund and they would receive them in the next 2 days. But my concern is that they should stop selling it altogether.
