Review on Performance Ignition Magneto Armature Stratton by Dennis Goozmer

Works electrically as it creates a spark. My 4HP Briggs & Stratton is part number 591420 because that part is listed. The curvature of this core doesn't even come close to that of the flywheel. It looks like it could fit an engine with a flywheel about twice the diameter of my 4HP, although I can't think of a small engine with a 16" flywheel or larger. Also, the sealed coil configuration is different from the original one, so you will need to cut off the regulator tab to clean this coil. Not a big deal, just a 1/4" square, you'll have to remove the angle of the blade, but if you neglect this the governor won't work properly and the motor will run a lot faster than it should.
