I really needed a small tripod or phone stand when hiking. Something I could set up and take down very quickly. The ones that are spring loaded and clip around the phone are good, but they are difficult to put on and take off. I always thought something with a pop mount would be perfect, this really got me excited! Unfortunately, it's very difficult to balance and carry the phone's weight without falling over. I've managed to do this a few times, but it always takes a long time to balance properly, which is counter-intuitive as I'm looking for something fast. Damn.
