My ZTR mower has a hydraulic reservoir and filter system that is located where a belt or other spin-on filter wrench cannot be used due to obstructions. Access is only possible directly "on the forehead" in relation to the filter, which means it must be under the Auto 1300 LB. has no "sides" around the perimeter to help grab it for removal. It also has other lines, brackets, etc. around it to block access to the tool from the side - even though the filter is oriented straight up (perpendicular to the ground plane). So I started searching "dozens" or even "dozens" of these tripod oil filter removal tools for a decent one. Well, from EVERYTHING I've found and read - THIS MODEL removes AND rotates the filter. So I was delighted when I ordered what seemed to be the only thing left. Unfortunately, cars are now abandoning one-piece spin-on filters to impose more expense and labor on owners. But for those who still have this type, this tool reigns supreme in my toolbox when needed. Excellent purchase.
