This was my first experience with perforated embroidery, although I had tried traditional embroidery before. The instructions (poorly) teach how to embroider with a hole punch, but there's nothing on the specific template. Luckily I had a nice full size picture on the box - wait, no, I didn't have that. Then I would have a nice full size picture in the instructions? no again I had a small marketing image that was partially obscured by the logo. I was working on that. I couldn't understand the instructions so I searched the internet for instructions and that's how I discovered that perforated embroidery traditionally works from the back of a project. Good thing I knew that before I glued the pattern onto the frame - wait, no, I didn't know that because the instructions for the set didn't mention it. Did I mention how bad the instructions are? Luckily, it's very easy to perforate embroidery and you can find instructions on how to do it online. My project turned out very well, thank you. It took maybe 2 hours. Oh, want to know more about the actual contents of the kit beyond the instructions? Well the yarn was very good and very soft and there was plenty of it. The perforating needle was fine. The threading wire was junk and I had to find my own wire. The little clippers were a joke but as someone who does crafts I have a pair of scissors that I could use. The detailed needle was ok. The tire for the project is an ugly, ugly plastic thing, but I didn't have anything better to use, so deliver. Overall I had a lot of fun but will look elsewhere for an eyelet kit in the future.
