Review on Cuisinart CSG 625 Infrared Surface Thermometer by Jeff Alradwan

What I received had a few issues with it: 1) the laser just won't turn on and 2) a battery compartment that doubles because part of the handle doesn't close properly no matter how hard I squeeze it or how hard I try to push the battery and cables in. The thermometer seems incredibly cheap and obviously not made under proper quality control. I'm sure I could return it for a working unit, but for $12 it's not worth the hassle of repackaging and shipping. Spend a little more money and get something better.
