I am extremely unimpressed. Can't cut manchego cheese. The wire is weak, stretches, breaks. Once stretched, it cannot be reinserted. I made the mistake of pulling it out to see if anything could be done to cut it through the manchego and then wasting a lot of time putting the wire back into the handle. The entire wire retention and tensioning and tensioning system is poorly designed. Not suitable for large slices of cheese such as Costco's Gouda. The thing looks good but doesn't work well. Another example of wasting the earth's resources.
