The Gamepi20 kit is very handy. The built-in screen may be too small for comfortable long gaming sessions, and while the IPS screen is very sharp, it does have some weird transition issues like screen tearing, but it's imperceptible in actual video games. Transition problems only become noticeable when changing a static image. I think the bigger benefit of this device is that it can act as a Pi Zero case with a backup battery. I was able to connect this device to a monitor, connect power and micro USB to a full size USB dongle with a hub connected to multiple controllers and have a retro gaming system. While I haven't tried it yet, I believe you can even set it up as a portable Kodi station or PC desktop with the way it's designed and works. You can output to HDMI and the built-in screen at the same time. I like the metal base of the case. Gives a nice solid feel. Conclusion: If you look at the gamepi20 kit as a purely portable gaming solution, it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. If you consider it a good case with battery backup that can also be used as a portable gaming system, the case's value really makes sense.
