I didn't even want to review these nibs - almost everyone is already saying how cool they are. And I can now assume that "Door shut!" is heard much less frequently when my son gets in or out of the motorhome. But I decided to include my 2 cents because of the instructions. Others have commented that the instructions are bad - and I think they are. I struggled until I stopped matching instructions to pictures (which confused me). Then it got pretty easy. The main thing I needed to understand was that the spring is completely hidden in the gap between the screen door and the outer door when both are closed. In case you didn't notice (I didn't notice), there is a fairly large gap between the two doors on the hinge side. The spring "lives" in this gap. Tools used: Cordless drill with screwdriver and (I think) 1/8 bit for pilot drilling. So here is the setup that worked for me: 1. Stand in front of the RV with the outer door open and the screen door closed.2. Look at the top hinge of the screen door.3. Remove the bottom screw from the top hinge (the part of the hinge that attaches to the door, not the jam). Nothing will fall apart - it will come out by itself.4. Insert the same screw into one of the spring's end holes and screw it back into the door/hinge exactly where it came from. Now the spring just hangs on the door which is attached to the hinge.5. Measure down 9 inches and mark the door jamb next to the screen door. So if you imagine BOTH doors closed, this mark will be in the space between the doors.6. Drill a pilot hole at this mark.7. Insert 1 screw from the kit through the free end of the hanger spring.8. Pull the spring down until the screw meets the pilot hole and screw it in. Done - if you only need one spring. If (like me) you need both springs, the general process for the second spring is the same, but from the bottom loop up instead of top down. This way you remove the top screw from the bottom hinge (again on the door side - no gluing), attach the spring so that it points up (or swings). Measure the same 9 inches for the jam and attach the spring. So now the springs are mirror-inverted to each other and you have twice the closing force. Installation is easy, the springs work great and are a nice simple fix to an annoying problem.
