Like many others in the reviews, I have a small warped tree. Also, one of the shelves was significantly shorter than it should have been. I was able to get it to work, but it was really frustrating. That being said, once I've assembled everything, it looks great. This is my favorite set I've made so far (six in total). Too bad I didn't use as many "fake" books and instead posted more "real" ones. When all was said and done, I still had plenty of "real" books left to put in their place. This set is particularly tough. For me this is my favorite part. It helps me manage my anxiety and allows me to focus on it instead of the world crumbling around us. I changed the light because the lighting instructions and how they wanted to do it seemed impossible. I think it looks great despite the changes I had to make.
