This product is great for protecting your Apple TV 4K, all the cut outs are in the right places on the remote and main console cover. It has a large hole for the touchpad on the remote control, as well as a top/bottom for an IR blaster and a lightning port for charging. It doesn't affect the remote's operation with the Apple TV itself, or with devices that use infrared, such as soundbars or televisions. There's plenty of room on the back for power, Ethernet, and HDMI cables. It is very easy to install it on the quad and remote control. I will say that reading the buttons on the remote is a bit more difficult as the letters are the same color as the cover, no problem if you remember the location of the six buttons. In my opinion the most important thing this product is good for is preventing the remote control from sliding off the sofa or bed onto the hard floor. The Apple TV remote is well made, but also very slippery due to the polished aluminum back. This cover has a grippy texture on the back, preventing it from slipping off surfaces or falling out of your hands. I think this product is a wise choice to protect your device and keep it looking like new if you decide to sell it or just want it to be in the best possible condition during use.
