As a standalone OBDII scanner, this is a pretty good scanner. The interface is simple and easy to use, and quickly matched my Ford and Mazda vehicles. Where it fails is in support. My Bitdefender Internet Security application marks the program as "ransomware-like behavior", numerous device drivers described only in Chinese characters try to load into your system. After installation, a timeout occurs when trying to sign in to receive updated ML629 files. The documentation that came with the device lists at least three different email addresses for support, and none of them have responded. that should work. If you want to be sure the device has the latest codes for the latest cars it's probably better to use another brand as I suspect all Autel brands are the same - no support.
