This brush is now my favorite! Outstanding quality, no protruding hairs and optimal flexibility for beginners in Chinese calligraphy. I finally feel like I have more control over the brush and so far I've been able to make all the sizes I needed, even some pretty small characters! I've also used it to draw ink on a picture I'm drawing of my cat, Leela. I will post photos of myself. Copy and draw when I get home. I just wanted to recommend this to beginner calligraphers - it makes a HUGE difference in the feel, accuracy and look of your practice! I only wish it was in other sizes!
