Blocks of excellent quality, no problems with the tree at all. The edges are beveled for easier use in Jenga. We considered making our own but getting this high quality wood without warping and then all the cutting and milling work involved would make it impractical. However, we had a note, the set does not contain a multiple of 3 blocks. This means that if you adjust it so that it has no gaps, there will be no block in the top row. However, this can be seen in the product image where there are only 2 blocks in the bottom row. We also enjoyed the Make Your Own Rules game. Some blocks have numbers and you can create rules for each number. We decided to turn it into a drunken game with our friends and everyone loved it. Definitely recommend.
