Soooo. I ended up having to return this particular model. It's not the owner's fault, it was my car. I have a 2003 Toyota 4Runner and figured it would fit in the vent. It's not like this. The vents I have are odd and a bit warped and the hook couldn't stay on the hook causing it to fall over bumps. The holder itself is solid. My phone has never been removed from the holder or damaged. I returned and got my refund. Zoe from VIICSEED contacted me and asked what the problem was, as well as my car make/model and what type of mount would work best. I told her it would be best to attach a clip to my vent. Zoya sent me a cell phone holder with a suction cup and clip. This holder is stronger than the previous one, and this holder practically froze to my air vent. It doesn't wobble, it doesn't wobble, it doesn't wobble. It's SO SUPER solid and I couldn't be happier! Customer service is a lost art. Zoey and VICESEED got it right.
