I have two small dogs who are interested in everything that happens. The older dog, a male, runs to the door and starts barking and jumping at my children and then takes our granddaughter into care. The female follows the male, jumping and barking as she does so. It is friendly and non-aggressive but causes a lot of confusion. We've tried other collars that are designed to detect a bark and then give an electric shock, but none of them worked. I have always looked for new collars, but I had no success before this Sorferina collar. This one is different. It has controls for sensitivity as well as impact strength. Because of my history with the bark collars, I increased the power too much, and when Boku began to bark for the first time, he let out a yell, bowed his head, and slowly returned to his kennel. I felt pretty bad but was amazed that "it works!" I adjusted the strength and he's been wearing it ever since. Every now and then you can hear a screech, but mostly he's calmed down. There is one more plus in this story, our female also began to bark less often. Her trigger relaxed and so did she. I definitely recommend this Sorferina dog bark collar - the instructions are clear, the construction is solid and (you get the idea) it works!
