I really liked the small size of these cubes when I bought the trays. When I received them I washed them with warm soapy water before doing my first round of dice. The dice were a bit harder to get than I expected. I had to remove about half the cubes from each tray, which took a bit of time. There was also a cube that had a small piece of plastic frozen inside. I suspect it was just a snippet of the production process, but it was still a little disconcerting. If I hadn't put the dice in the white dice basket, I don't think I would have seen it. I checked the rest of the cubes and didn't see any other debris or plastic. I'm just glad I found it before using that particular cube. The plastic could be swallowed. I cleaned the trays one more time before using them again. After that no problem.
