When my sister was pregnant in the summer, all she wanted was ice cubes. But due to COVID, she was forced to pop giant ice cubes because she couldn't go to her favorite spot for ice cream. And the value of good ice cream is known to every woman who has ever been pregnant! These cubes were the perfect size. This made a pregnant woman very happy after 6/7/8/9 months of quarantine!

I originally bought these to freeze food while cooking. I meant ginger and garlic, these bowls have tiny cubes. Too small for the ginger but the garlic worked. I used two to freeze the garlic, it was sticky but kept its shape and I was able to flex the tray to completely remove each piece one at a time (it took a while). However, the smell of garlic did not go away. They retain their smell when you freeze anything other than water.

I love small ice cubes! Definitely saves me money from having to buy drinks all the time! I gave it four stars because it's a bit difficult to get the ice cream - the best way I've found is to fold the trays inwards (rather than outwards).
