I've tried some very simple dehydration methods just to get an idea of what I'm working with. The machine is so smelly, easy to use! I want to buy all sorts of things and use them all the time. It's so quiet you won't even notice it's on. The kitchen doesn't get warm either, which was alarming. I dried some apples (and ate them all because they taste so much better than homemade) and last Saturday I had about 1# green beans left over from canning, so I cut them into smaller pieces and dried them. By Sunday I realized I had probably overdried them, but that's part of the learning curve. Now I know how long you can eat green beans! Can't wait to try MEAT next time. I just need to prepare to store the meat first. Hello Costco Oven Fried Chicken!
