I've never owned a bird feeder. I bought it because it was recommended with the feeder I bought. The birds love it! We were surprised by the large variety of birds foraging. Cons: I needed a bigger feeder. Birds empty it too quickly. My cats are going crazy trying to get to the birds. Before approaching the bird feeder, the birds perch on the katio. I bought an automatic feeder because bird watching is good for cats. It's more like torture, but cats are very active bird watchers. This can cause weight problems in birds. I have found £20 for $20 elsewhere but I have not been able to find this meal again at this price. . Our birds don't hunt other sunflower seeds like this, so they returned a 5 star rating. I hope it will be back in stores soon.
