Review on Enhanced GM OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner - FOXWELL NT530: Read & Erase Error Codes across Multiple Systems by Jason Rosekrans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good offer with great functionality for GM vehicles

I purchased a GM ABS auto bleed version of this scanner on my 2009 Chevy Suburban after the master cylinder went dry during a caliper change. You will need a scanner for this. The device perfectly performed this function, and now the brakes are reliable and work well. Please note that you will need a lot of brake fluid for this procedure as it almost drains the brake reservoir after each wheel. able to find and scan all modules and translate codes. The screen is small but functional, and for the price, it's hard to beat for the features it offers. I've read previous reviews that mentioned that you need to update the firmware to the latest version for the device to work properly. That was the first thing I did when unpacking. You do this by removing the memory chip from the device and using the USB chip interface provided, connecting it to a Windows computer, installing the Foxwell update software from their website, and then running the program to update the memory chip. Then insert the device back into the scanner.
