Wide sit bones and aerodynamics? this is your place

This is my fourth Selle SMP seat. I love these saddles. I have a wide sit bone and wanted to try something different than my favorite Avant, which unfortunately was attached to my road bike that was stolen from my garage. DEATH TO THE BICYCLE THIEF! Sorry, I digress. This seat is marketed as for people with wide sit bones like me, so I threw the bones in. Some guys spend a lot of money on cars, women, etc. For me, it's bike seats. This seat differs from the other wide sit bone SMPs, Avant and Plus, in that its sides ("wings") slope sharply downward. This leaves a narrower area for your butt to rest on over the railing. It took a little getting used to because I'm more used to the Avant's flatter rear platform. My impression of this seat is that it really shines when you're in drops or when your bars are set really low, and is very aerodynamic when you're riding. Feels very smooth and doesn't restrict movement in the hip area when you actually shoot it. Very comfortable in this position. Sitting upright the Avant is a more comfortable saddle, although I can ride it for up to 80km without much discomfort. I can feel the pressure concentrated in much more subtle areas, and it's *slightly* annoying when I'm going straight without straining my back and neck. Although, I will say this, it gets more comfortable with every ride. The gap in the middle is pretty damn big, as you'd expect from SMP. Obviously most guys who ride drops or slouch low a lot are overweight (not to mention they don't usually have wide sit bones) and won't use this saddle. SMPs aren't the lightest, except perhaps for their really expensive carbon models. But if you have a wide sit bone and really ride aerodynamically, check out the Pro. I use it in my commuter car and if I ever get a bike for critical testing it will be on it. UPDATE December 2015: Perhaps because I use this seat every weekday on my commuter train, this saddle has become my favorite. Even without cycling shorts, he feels comfortable on tours over ten kilometers. Sitting on my road bike with the SMP Plus on the weekend, the Plus feels a little wide and restricts movement a bit where the seat meets your hip. I tried the Pro on a 120 mile ride and there were a few complaints, but nothing exceptional for such long rides. In 2016 I will try on a double eyelid. I just wish these things were cheaper.
