Review on Motorcraft SW6350 Brake Repair Kit by Patrick Alexander

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Maybe the price is a lot better if you buy the SW-6350

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer. I've been dealing with intermittent cruise control for over a year now and sometimes the ABS light would come on and then go off the next time I drove. Everyone has pointed out the ABS sensors to me, especially the rear ones, as that's a common failure point on these Explorers. After experimenting with my Google-Fu, I found that the ABS light turns on and off and the cruise control only works intermittently, likely due to a faulty brake pressure sensor switch. The part that fitted my 2003 Ford Explorer was SW-6349. . It was almost twice the price of this part (SW-6350). The only difference is that the SW-6350 comes with both the SW-6349 part and an additional wiring harness (which was not needed for my particular vehicle). So if you want the SW-6349 part, maybe the price is much better if you buy the SW-6350. Very easy to install. It was right in front of the brake fluid reservoir. It took about 2 minutes to fix the ABS light and cruise control.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Some little things
