Plan accordingly when using them.
I have used them for a closed rear trailer door for a long time. Welding these loops was a tricky multiple pass job on my 110 volt welder due to poor penetration. I strongly recommend a welder with at least 240 volts. Also, the angle built into the hinge causes the door to be several inches higher in the ramp's open position, so plan accordingly.
