I am very satisfied with this product, I bought it for my construction workers who need to scan packages regularly. You will most likely just waste your time or money looking for another wireless scanner with similar features. BENEFITS - Comes with a solid docking block/base (HERE'S A BIG BONUS - other scanners don't have this) - Dock base is both charger and receiver - Plug and play, very easy, just needs an open USB Port - Ready to use right out of the box No complicated settings - NO Bluetooth (why complicate it when you don't need it) - Construction is great, doesn't feel cheap - Can DEFINITELY take a significant drop (not the same as other scanners) - Greater Battery life - can be customized to perform other actions (keyboard commands) in combination with receiving barcodes - fast scan time MINUS - so far none that I can really see - wish there were some battery indicator lights on the scanner (so you know how much cargo is on the left) SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS - if it is used heavily (constantly getting in and out of the dock) you might want to weigh the dock/base unit -- might help a little
